The Dog House, Mere

Very friendly hosts. We were cycling and they were helpful indeed. I would recommend staying here as it had all the amenities that you would need for a comfy night and a pub/diner down the road where we had an excellent meal.

Liked it all really.

Great place for 1 or 2 nights at most. Good location. Comfy bed.

Hairs in the shower and bed!! Cutlery wasn't clean.

I have no negative comments about this stay. The hosts send a very informative pack prior to the stay and are very friendly. Check in was straight forward. The property was clean and comfortable with everything I needed for my stay. I turned the heating on of an evening and the property warmed up lovely and quickly. The dogs found it very comfortable too. Hope to return in the future.

Everything was top notch..so cosy..convenient for my stay location wise my dog was relaxed and happy too

Lovely place to stay, lovely area and super clean. Dog enjoyed it equally!

Liked everything about it. It was billed as small - and it was - but plenty of room for us and our dog. The shower was a little tight for me as I am not a small woman but the owners have made very good use of the space available and have put a lot of thought into the renovation of the cottage. There were some nice touches like baskets and blankets, plus treats and water bowl for the dog, plus a rather clever torch and razor and USB socket plugs in addition to the usual hairdryer. Although the owners are just next door, it felt nice and private but we had contact numbers if needed - which they weren’t.

There wasn’t anything.
