No 9 The Hill Cromford Nr Matlock Bath

We absolutely loved our stay at number 9! We had everything we needed. Beds were very comfy and the whole cottage was cosy and welcoming. Lovely little park up the hill behind the property for the kids to burn energy before bed. Regular buses from just down the road got us everywhere we wanted to go. A walk along the Cromford canal is a must, we took the duck food that was provided to feed the geese! Arkwrights stores is amazing, they sold everything we needed without having to go to a supermarket and the ladies in there were fab! The childrens book basket was a lovely touch and they really loved the little basket of wooden dolls! We would 100% return to number 9 and Cromford, we had the best time :)

Nothing, everything was perfect!

The cottage was adorable and felt very authentic peak district. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the board games were a lovely addition. The hosts were very responsive and lovely from start to finish.

Just something to be aware of - the doorways are low

Liked how quirky and charactful the cottage was, close to my brother. Courtyard setting was lovely and kitchen very well equipped.

Thought the front room was a bit dark however loved the other rooms. Shower amazing!

The outside garden needed attending to and not pleasant to sit out in especially with the hot weather and the garden furniture not comfortable to sit on. The parking was not good.

Brilliant location. Spotlessly clean. A lovely old cottage with lots of character.

Slight boiler problem but great communication from the owners

Very nice place in a very nice area and easy for us to get to where we were going. Very good facilities too 👍.

This house is very clean and comfortable and a great location for nearby attractions. Adam & Hayley were great in any communications and even messaged to let us know that cleaners had finished so we could check in early if we wanted. There was everything you needed for a great stay and a lovely welcome pack to with some chocolates ,some food for kids to feed the ducks etc..there is a great fish & chip shop a few doors up and a lovely pub to. Would definitely book again.

It's a busy rd ( I did know before booking and honestly it doesn't really bother to much and parking can be a little tricky but again no major issue.

A lovely cottage with character and with everything we needed! Quirky, modern, lovely and clean and perfect location.
