Room was too small to be called ‘superior’ TV didn’t work despite the best efforts of the staff. Toilet was blocked in the morning.

Toilet paper quality in rooms quality not good . Too narrow . Didn’t tear well . Double layers often out of sync . Downstairs toilet paper much better . Short cubicle in room 11 needs a grab handle . Quite dangerous without .

Breakfast was a bit hit & miss ~ we had to pre~order the night before yet when we arrived at the breakfast room no table was laid for us.

GBExcellent value for money generally, and the real gem is a lovely bar that you can settle into by an open fire. The full Welsh breakfast was very good, and the staff were patient with us as we were a larger group who didn't all arrive at the same time. They also fitted us in for a dinner one night even though we arrived without a booking around the time the kitchen was closing.
Only thing that could have been better was the coffee - the one person cafetieres provided on the first day were fine, but on the second day we had larger cafetieres to share and the coffee was very weak.

No improvements needed, rooms recently renovated to high standard.
