GBGBThis is a lovely hotel to stay in, right in the heart of USK town.
The hotel has been recently renovated to a high standard. We stayed in a lovey room. Just one issue, in the bathroom our towel rail did not work at all, we mentioned this to someone who worked in the hotel and they had a look at it for us and said it should work now. When we went up to the room and checked the towel rail it still did not work, it was a very cold night in the middle of winter (January 2026). We asked again if anyone could have a look at it and we were advised that as we were staying just one night there was nothing that could be done!.

Had to wait for check-in, bedsheet had a stain which was replaced and staff were helpful. But the fire alarm went off at early hours therefore broken sleep and no explanation as to the reason for alarms.

GBQuiet location in Usk - short walk from the main high street, car park immediately opposite. Old building, but most rooms are in the new section. Room was very comfortable. Good choice for breakfast, nice bar area in old part of the building
