Cosy house, a train spotter's delight!

The house was spotlessly clean. It is well equipped. There were thoughtful touches and basic supplies on arrival. Our host, Jen, kept us well informed, especially when my arrival plans changed. The house is located close to the centre of New Alresford and convenient for nearby attractions such as Jane Austen's House, the Watercress Line and Grange Opera Festival. What we liked most was that it felt like a well-loved family home rather than soulless holiday accommodation. Recommended.

You should be aware that Sun Lane is narrow. Driving and parking can be challenging occasionally. Other than that minor point - no issues!

Our second stay here. Great location, great hosts everything we needed for a weekend away.

This is a home from home just a 5 minute walk from the village centre. It suited us to not drive and the kind host provided great tips on super places to eat. It’s a spotless house. There’s nice outside space too if you get fine weather. The art and library add interest if the weather is poor you’ll be occupied. The host left essentials and fresh milk for us and is very responsive.

Nothing! It’s possible to park up and quickly unload or you can find roadside parking 2-3 minutes away or closer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. It was spotlessly clean with excellent facilities and is very well equipped. It is a perfect location for everything Alresford has to offer. There was always space to park on the road, not far away. Communication with Jen was brilliant. We loved sitting in the garden with a glass of wine listening to the steam trains going up and down the line! Thank you!

Mew double bed

Impeccably clean, everything we needed for the weekend stay. Easy walk to shops etc.

Excellent location. Parking outside. Very comfortable. Lovely little town with lots to do and see. Facilities were excellent
