Brampton Holiday Cottage @ 4 Gelt Road

Clean, welcoming, spacious, tea coffee biscuits etc were a nice touch, simple access instructions, good communication. Nice decor, kitchen well equipped, ice available in freezer, beautiful pillows, lots of plug sockets.

Issue with woodlice, luckily I don’t mind them but we had to hoover them up every day, there are two corners in the kitchen where they seem to be living, prob 50 or so on arrival. The downstairs bathroom is impossible to use without soaking the floor, after 4 of us showering we were swimming, needs another screen or a curtain just to stop most of it, a mop and bucket would have been handy in the cupboard to get the worst up so it could dry during the day, and a couple of big fluffy floormats to stop slips, the small one provided was dripping.

The rooms were lovely and it was a great location. Comfortable beds. Nicely decorated. Lovely biscuits and tea. Clean and tidy.

Would have liked a second key as we got locked out after posting the key through the door as didn’t want to leave teenager locked in house. Then we couldn’t get back in as she was sleeping till late. Couldn’t work out how to use the hob.

I couldn’t get the hob to work. More likely to be down to something I was doing wrong.

Beautifully presented. Like a tardis. Great beds and everything we needed. Great location too.

Fabulous cottage in a lovely location. So comfortable and deceptively spacious. Couldn't ask for anything more. Handy free parking just up from the cottage.

Hob was awkward to use and shower screen as previously mentioned but only small things

Location was great and host was fantastic!

Only minor things - busy public carpark and shower screen could be bigger.

Clean and comfortable. Good location. We would stay there again.
