B&B San Giuseppe, nel cuore di Ortigia

Fabio was helpful and responded quickly. The location is definitely great, and even if inside the ZTL zone, Fabio communicated our licence plate to the authorities to be able to drive to the B&B. Rooms / toilets / shared kitchen and living space are very good.

We filtered for "Parking" (which is also listed as first property highlight at the time of writing) and discovered on the day we arrived that in fact the property has no dedicated parking, one must book well in advance to get a spot in a nearby garage; we ended up paying 30€ (an additional 15% on the price of the booking) for public parking very far away from the B&B. I checked again and "Parking" is listed as a highlight on multiple places on the property's page on the website, and this ridiculous (if not deceitful) technicality is mentioned only once after a good amount of scrolling down. While this may be more an issue with booking.com for allowing this, a property should not list "Parking" as a highlight if it has no parking but relies on totally unrelated public parking somewhere else. The included "good" breakfast is a card to walk to a bar not exactly adjacent to the B&B, which also featured possibly the worst breakfast we had on our whole 2-week trip through Sicily.

The location of the property is very good, walking distance from most attractions and restaurants in Ortigia

The mattresses were not of very high quality, and therefore not very comfortable. We would recommend to replace them. We booked in this place mainly for the kitchen which we saw in the pictures on Booking but upon arrival we were told that according to Italian legislation it was not possible to use it. We did not experience the same in other B&B in italy. If this is the case though we would recommend removing the kitchen pictures from the overview of the flat, otherwise it can be misleading. We had a room without balcony and there was no way to hang wet towels etc to dry expect for a hanger ina dark room without window. Being it a place by the sea, it was a bit annoying. Could be resolved easily.

Posizione ottima, Fabio si è occupato di prenotarci un parcheggio vicino. Stanza grande con un grande bagno (camera numero 3). Colazione ottima in un bar vicino

No funcionaba bien el aire en nuestro cuarto.

Ottima posizione, camera ampia e pulitissima e dotata di ogni comfort. Proprietario disponibilissimo. Ottima esperienza.
