Seashell Cottage - Dog friendly 1 bed cottage close to the sea

Beautifully presented and cosy. Very comfortable bed and fantastic en-suite .

Nothing except it would benefit from an oven or air fryer .

Gary was there to meet us. Gary brought us a lovely warm pork pie 🥧 which was delicious 😋.thank you for that. The cottage was only 5 minutes from the seafront, lots of places to eat nearly all are dog friendly the lotus flower Chinese was very good very reasonably price quick and delicious 😋. Would definitely like to stay again. Our x2 dogs loved it. There was a large grass field just round the corner, very handy for morning and evening walks.

Only a few little things really nothing much, just a few suggestions Shelving in the shower Clock in the lounge Right size bin liners Long handle brush as our dogs had sand on their paws, and i would have swept the floor. I did us the dust pan and brush . But this wouldn't put me off coming again.

We loved our stay with the beautiful comfy sofa and very comfy bed, we had 3 nights great sleep. Everything you needed in a self catering holiday home was provided and the property was spotless. it has a very large t.v with free sky and internet, large walk in shower unit, under floor heating very impressive and you could park outside the front gate. Our dog loved sitting at the front door looking for people to get a stroke from. The owner of the property Gary lives next door and popped round to introduce himself when we arrived. He gave us a very large freshly baked homemade pork pie from the butchers and it was the best pork pie we had ever tasted. We also received a bag of dog treats, crisps, milk and a golden syrup cake upon our arrival which was most appreciated. We had a wonderful stay in Hornsea as our first visit and the accommodation was a short walk to the promenade, town centre with all its shops and restaurants. Our little French Bulldog enjoyed all the fuss she received whilst walking along the promenade with her little summer hat on. There were plenty of fish and chip places to eat and the usual ice creams, donuts, burgers hot dogs and sticks of rocks to indulge on. All in all, was had a fantastic time and hope to stay again at the same property. Thank you Gary for providing such a fantastic property to stay in and for being a great host.

For a small property there was plenty of space.

Pillows were very soft and did not offer much support whilst sleeping.

The property was fantastically laid out and the location was brilliant. The host Gary was very approachable and provided nice extras such as tea / coffee / milk, snacks and even brought us a freshly made pork pie from the Butchers.

Perhaps there could have been a sweeping brush / vacuum to help us keep the property clean.

Perfect location. Great hosts , loved the little extras. Complimentary pork pie was delicious. Would definitely return.
