Lux Livin' Apartments - Luxury 2 Bed Apartment with Sky Garden

Nice balcony/terrace to sit outside. Close Tesco extra for essentials. Decent space and nice big shower head.

Key box hidden and nearly didn't manage to find it. Slightly more dated in apartment than photos suggest, certainly didn't have a luxury feel, table quite wobbly, bedroom curtain didn't fully cover window so bright in morning. A good place to stay but not for that cost.

The pool table and large terrace

Excellent check-in instructions. Easy to locate. Paid parking close by.

Apartment is dilapidated. Needs a lot of work. Curtains don’t fit, so light shines through the windows. Bedroom door handles and toilet seats are loose. Beds are cheap and uncomfortable. Apartment has not been properly cleaned in ages. Surrounding buildings are also dilapidated, adding an additional element of misery.

The balcony and the pool table

Hard to find key fob and had to ring numerous times to locate it, Main door handle fell off, toilet door handle fell off, toilet seat was moving and not stable in one of the bathrooms, door wasn’t locking in the other bathroom, mess under one of the beds, was advertised as free Wi-Fi but service in the apartment was so bad, advertised as 2 sofa beds but only had one sofa bed. Advertised with parking but we was told by the host that parking was not free and we had to pay. Very disappointed with our stay as it was false advertising and apartment seems to not have been maintained to a high standard.

A light, spacious and surprisingly quiet apartment. Large balcony seating area, although we didn't have the weather to use it! Conveniently located within walking distance of the city centre. Pool/table tennis table was a bonus!

Unfortunately there were lots of small issues which added up. Lack of cutlery, plates, kitchen utensils etc. (we had to buy our own cutlery as there were so few items provided!). Laundry had been left in both the washing machine and tumble dryer. 3 of the 4 inflatable beds deflated! Stained sheets and bedding. Broken toilet seats, door handle and wardrobe doors. Curtains didn't fit the windows. No information pack, so finding out wifi code, how to use washing machine, what to do with rubbish etc. required more effort than it should have done. Many of these issues have been raised in previous reviews, so it's disappointing to see that no action has been taken.

Location and outdoor space

Only one glass in the apartment which seemingly sleeps 8. Sofa bed was really uncomfortable and could only sleep one person. Door handles fell Off of main door and bathroom door. Dishes were not very clean. No dishcloth or dish towels only a dishwasher
