Lux Livin' Apartments - Luxury 2 Bed Apartment with Sky Garden

Great location, large apartment.

Beds were not the best, we had to have the maintenence man in to repair damages from previous tenants to the table, this should really have been done before we checked in. And to arrive at 6pm right when we wanted to relax and use table was an inconvenience. Outside area was nice but a few of the neighbours obviously enjoy a joint or 2 so sitting outside was accompanied by some funky odors. ( of course nothing the owners can do about this)

The rooms were fair quality, but massively let down by poor maintenance and very basic cleaning.

Lots of repairs on things needed, let the whole property down. Also could be a lot cleaner. Table very loose and wobbly felt like it was going break when trying to eat or play pool. One toilet seat was just unmatched. All of the cushions need a good clean, and the sofa bed was stained and just felt a bit dirty.

The location was brilliant for the centre!

There was stains all over the sofa bed so 2 of the 6 guests did not stay at the property. The property was dusty and not been cleaned properly. There wasn't enough cutlery or chairs for 4 guests never mind 6 to eat and the fans did not work so the property smelt of cooking all weekend. Most door handles did not work or were broken amd pictures were laid on the floor that had fallen. One of the beds were broken so the mattress was sunken. After contacting the owner I was ignored with the complaints and concerns I had a feel it was very disappointing for my husbands 40th birthday.

i did not like the property because we paid for early check in which was 12pm but we didnt not arrive until 12:25, the key was not in the fob ready as cleaner was still in there, reception was not helpful at all, the cleaning company was very rude on the phone although lady cleaning was pleasant. we arrived and the mattress were very uncomfortable one bed was very badly broken. someone buzzed the buzzer at midnight unsure who it was but woken us up.

Apartment looks modern in the photos but on closer inspection it’s pretty run down.

Check in was very confusing despite having a video, as the lock box is very hidden, so that was stressful after a long journey. Bed in the 2nd bedroom was broken so 1 couple needed to sleep on an airbed in the same room as another couple, and the airbed had holes in it. There were 3 airbeds but not labelled which of the 3 didn’t have a hole. Bathroom door didn’t have a latch so wouldn’t close - not ideal when sharing with friends. The host was only responsive when it suited them and was very defensive when we asked for solutions to the issues.

The property was modern and secure.

It was dirty, difficult to get into and the location was a long way out of the city centre. There was blood on the bed and a cable was bare on the bedside lamp. The garden looked unkempt and tired. I’m sure it was once very pretty.

Great location. Served its purpose. The pool table is a great addition 👌 The flat is a good size but would benefit from curtains that fit the window in the lounge. Also the bed in the room nearest the door needs to be looked at as my friend was rolling off the bed and had a terrible night's sleep. Boyh rooms have ensuite which is great. Overall a lovely place to stay and at a good price.

The apartment itself was practical and served us for what we needed

The apartment hadn't been cleaned properly. We ended up having to clean it ourselves and left it cleaner than when we arrived. The £150 deposit also hasn't been given back to us yet
