Emplacement idéal sur une plage magnifique. L’hôtel est parfaitement disposé, tout est proche (chambres, restaurant, piscine, plage…). Personnel nombreux et aux petits soins. Beaucoup de familles, idéal pour les enfants pour se faire des copains et pour participer ensemble aux activités organisées par l’animateur du kids club

We spent 5 days at Maalu Maalu and had the best time. We have 3 young children and it was perfect for them, not only the shallow areas of the pool and the perfect location of the beach. The thing that stood out the most for us was the friendliness and kindness of the staff. They couldn’t do enough to help. We arrived earlier than expected and the team had a room ready for us very quickly. Thanzil ensured we did not have to wait long for dinner and kept us hydrated in the day! Rupan, would lay out our towels at the pool every morning along with pool toys for our children and the kids loved playing with Ruchira. All the staff from bell boys to front of house and manager Chamara would come round and chat with us/the kids-I’m sure they did this with everyone but it certainly made us feel special. We will remember this place for a long time.

Not much around the location if you wanted to get out and walk anywhere

La plage est sublime, la piscine également. Le staff était vraiment adorable et au petits soins. Bonne ambiance globale avec des activités et de la musique.

La chambre n’était pas propre et avait une forte odeur de renfermé / produits chimiques. Les chambres n’ont pas de grande fenêtre pour voir à l’extérieur ou aérer, et le soir la lumière est blanchâtre ce qui n’est pas agréable. Il n’y a rien à faire autour, que des resorts.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest welcome and a genuine kindness from every single member of the staff that truly set the tone for our entire vacation. What really blew me away, however, was their incredible teamwork and how they handle challenges. Due to an error partly on my own end, I accidentally made a double booking. Instead of enforcing rigid policies, the management showed immense fairness, understanding, and flexibility, graciously agreeing to a partial refund. It is rare to find a resort that handles guest mishaps with such grace and professionalism. A massive, heartfelt thank you goes out to Chamara, the manager, for his outstanding leadership and fairness, to the wonderful Tasneem, and to Tanzeel at the bar for keeping our spirits high. Every single one of them went above and beyond to make our stay incredibly special. If you are looking for a beautiful getaway where you are treated like family by an exceptional team, Maalu Maalu is the place to be. Thank you for making our stay so memorable—we cannot wait to return!

Wunderschöne und gepflegte Anlage. Die Zimmer sind groß und sehr sauber. Das Badezimmer ist top. Auch der Pool ist sehr angenehm. Der Ausblick und das Meer selbst traumhaft. Nur die Fotos der Panorama-Suite sind etwas irreführend, es sieht aus, als wäre es eine eigene Hütte, ist es aber nicht. Dafür ein schönes Zimmer, wo sich 4 Einheiten den Minipool teilen. Auch das Seafood Restaurant am Abend ist 100 prozentig zu Empfehlen! Thanzil hat uns einen großartigen Abend geschenkt. Das Spa ist okay, wenn auch etwas teuer. Die Fußreflexzonenmassage meines Freundes war toll, mein Ayurveda-Paket fand ich etwas langweilig und die Massage zu sanft, aber entspannend war es. Alles gesamt, ein toller Zwischenstopp zum Entspannen auf einer Rundreise.

Uns war das Personal etwas zu aufdringlich mit mehreren Nachfragen bei Bestellungen und beim Check-in. Abendessen im Hauptrestaurant, wenn man a-la-carte bestellen möchte und nicht am Buffet mitisst, gestaltete sich etwas schwierig. Auch den Check-in Prozess würden wir lieber direkt bei der Ankunft machen, anstatt in der Bar, wo alle 3 Minuten jemand weiteres dasteht. Da wäre es effizienter alles auf einmal zu machen. Der Check-Out hingegen war sehr unpersönlich. Man hatte einfach ein bisschen das Gefühl, dass die aufgesetzte Freundlichkeit nun einfach ein nicht mehr notwendig sei.. Die Umgebung außerhalb von Pasikudah Bay fanden wir nicht sehr ansprechend.
