Luxury cabin in the Swellendam valley, W.C.

Beautiful executed tiny blockhouse with everything you need to make your stay welcome and comfortable. Cozy and clean. Small fridge and a 2 plate gas stove. Hot tube and outside braai. Very comfortable and luxurious bed, linen and towels. Excellent host that followed up the entire time to give location pin drop and information on cabin. Strong wifi.

The biggest downfall for us is that this cabin it situated right next to the very busy R60 between Aston and Swellendam. At night, the sound of the trucks is even louder, and vehicle lights can be seen. The purpose of staying in a cabin in the woods is defeated. Another downfall is that there is no hideaway from the sun or rain. This blockhouse has no verandah cover or any cover over the braai.

Little bit more filter coffee No microwave, but at least we could still heat using gas and pots.

Everything. The connection to nature was amazing. My husband gets migraines every day. But the time we spent there, there was no mention of migraines. Food tasted better. the water was amazing. The sound of nature was incredible. It was perfect.there is no other way to explain it.

Having to leave..

The space was very nice, neat and secluded. There was even a little camp cot set up for our little one who joined us on the trip.

Maybe it can be highlighted that there is no microwave in the cabin - and that you cannot drive with any car to get to the cabin. We have two cars and luckily we decided to take the SUV on the trip because our other car would have never gotten us to the cabin.
