Luxury cabin in the Swellendam valley, W.C.

The setting was absolutely amazing, tranquillity at its best. I was looking for a quiet place to get away with my wife and Lokai ticked every box. It is well equipped with all the necessities needed. There is a stunning hike up to a waterfall as well.

The place ticked all the boxes and exceeded our expectations.

A bit of traffic noise but the speaker was a good touch - easy to drown out with music

The idea of a cabin.

The continuous noice of trucks on the R60, very close to the cabin. The view of the mountains, dam and vineyards from the deck and cabin was limited due to the surrounding tall wattle trees.

Friendly host, cabin situated at a hill top, very nice place.

The deck and tub. The decor and layout in cabin. The nature and privacy.

Struggled with the shower...extremely hot or cold. Bed sloped into the middle a bit. Cabin was extremely hot but luckily a cool wind came up in the evening. We tried to walk to the waterfall but there was no clear path after a short while so we had to turn back. We didn't have much of an outlook as we were so surrounded by bush. It was a bit close to the road...would have liked to be further in.

Amazing place! Super clean. Very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this place.

The path to the waterfall could have been better sign posted. But what an awesome walk and so beautiful!
