Luxury cabin in the Swellendam valley, W.C.

The location of the place is perfect. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. WiFi worked well.

The shower temperature, struggle to set the temp, water was either too hot or too cold. The hot tub water temperature. I burnt 3 bags of wood in the hot tub but the water didn't want to get warm.

Amazing views and comfortable stay. We booked very last minute but they welcomed us like we had booked in advance. Thank and we will be back

Not Hot tub is crap. 7 hours of wood burning and not warming up properly

Traffic noise, no security measures in place, no heating other than the fireplace that causes smoke buildup in the building and dries out the air too much due to the small size of the building. No heat retention in the building causing very low temperatures at night. Hot tub does not heat up in 6 hours of burning a lot of wood in winter. No space for any luggage inside the building. Not meant for longer than one night stay.

We loved the compact, modern accommodation which had everything we needed. The cabin was warm and cosy and the indoor fireplace was extremely effective. The linen was excellent and everything was of the best quality.

There was a bit of road noise but it hasn’t put us off returning again.

Loved the cabin.

Hot tub takes too much and wood to warm the water. Unfortunately the R60 road is very noisy.
