Family atmosphere

Good location, handy to town. Electric blankets and heater in the room were very necessary!

The bed was comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean.

This booking was very misleading. It said private bathroom and private parking but it was not. The bathroom is not inside the room. We had to walk out and go next door to use it. The owner’s family lives in the house and stays next to the room. So it didn’t feel private at all. There was no private parking. We were asked to park on the street a few meters away and it was dark when we arrived. I fell on the stairs because the outside light was turned off and my power bank was damaged. The kitchen was not clean as on photos and we didn’t feel comfortable using it because the family was there with kids. We planned to cook dinner but couldn’t. The city view is also not from the room. You can only see it if you go outside or to their dining area. This was more like an Airbnb style booking not what we expected from Booking.com. Very disappointing experience.

The host is hospitable and nice.

No smoke alarm in the room. The room should be separated from the main house to have a privacy.
