Hotel Leaf 9 INN, Cyber City near Ambience Mall

There is nothing to like except the location

Despite my confirmed reservation, the hotel declined to provide a room, stating they were fully booked. Their internal system also reflected this status. I documented a screenshot of the Leaf 9 monitor at the reception, which clearly displayed my Booking.com voucher and confirmation under my name, yet access was still denied. When I inquired about alternative accommodation at 10 PM, I was informed that no assistance could be provided due to the lack of available rooms. Furthermore, the reception staff member appeared to be a helper, frequently consulting someone via phone, so any discussion with him was futile. The adjacent room to the reception was occupied by numerous male guests, generating considerable noise and requests for water bottles to the same helper sitting on reception, which created an unsettling atmosphere, particularly for solo travelers or those with families. Ultimately, while Hotel Leaf 9 may be earning money keep doing these frauds, this incident represents a significant failure on Booking.com's part, suggesting a lack of oversight or enforcement of penalties for such establishments. In situations of this nature, there appears to be no immediate response mechanism or action team to provide critical support. Previously, I use to dismiss "fraud" comments in reviews, assuming user error only. However, having experienced this issue firsthand, I now recognize the validity of such claims. Even with meticulous planning, one can fall victim to such deceptive practices. I am sharing this review to inform other travelers and prevent them from encountering similar problems. Often, travelers are unfamiliar with the area and property they have booked, and such reviews can be instrumental in making informed decisions. This also applies to Booking.com, as these experiences erode customer loyalty, regardless of membership status. We assist you, please assist us. Regards

Beautiful location & ambience — The property is tucked in a green, tranquil environment, with the gentle sound of a stream nearby and lovely cottage views. It’s peaceful yet well-placed (in between Tapovan, making it easy to access good food, sightseeing, and spiritual spots).
