Leicester City centre en suite budget room for 1 in 2 bed apartment

I didn't stay in that apartment. Because once I reached the Leicester ,I have contacted to the staff . She has told me there was no room available on 27th. I have troubled a lot because I have came for exam.

I have asked for refund but I didn't receive yet.

The lady of the property went above and beyond to get me to the destination, I was a stones throw away but could not find it. She stood in the cold for me, helped with my stuff, clear and concise instructions on how things work . Great hostess, and I will go back if on offer next time I'm out that way x

Not a good welcome I had to find all I want in the room by myself and I didn't like the point of leaving my shoes by the door,if she had allowed me to take them off and carry them to my room.can you improve we take off but we take them to our rooms

It was terrible. Nothing good to say about this place.

The room smelled like fungus & cat pee, the carpet was wet and stained (presumably cat pee), the room was full of junk and trash from the person before me & nothing was cleaned. Warm water was only available at certain times the owner allowed it (due to it being ran on electricity). Towels were used and thrown on the floor by a previous visitor. And the smell of the room made me sick. There were stains on the cabinets, bed side tables, walls, carpet, anywhere you would look. Incredibly unhygienic. I ended up getting a seriously infected wound because of a bug bite and ended up in the hospital. The owner was incredibly rude to me when I asked for my money back & didn’t care about my wellbeing. She falsely claimed I took her house keys after I left so she could claim more money through Booking.com! If you want your trip to be a good one, stay clear of this room and property owner. It will definitely leave a sour taste (& a bad smell). I also suspect other reviews to not be genuine.
