Extremely helpful host, great central location, quiet and calm. Good facilities, kettle, microwave etc

Nothing to dislike really, I prefer a harder bed but that's just me.

Everything. The mattress is unusable. I woke up with a sore neck. The room is very, very, very cold. Also, the room is crowded with stuff everywhere. Books, computers, antiques. The closet is full and there is no place to put your stuff and clothes. There are repair tools in the closet, towels, and dozens of blankets. The bathroom has all the cleaning supplies as if it were a supermarket. The room is ice.

the heating wasn't adequate (it was - literally- freezing outside, on the night i stayed & the small electric heater didnt warm the property. I had a room in an apartment; there was at least one other guest. There was no proper lock on the room & i had to ask for a padlock, to secure the room. Although, if I had contacted the owners, in advance (as invited to) they could have left a padlock for me - but really, a secure room should be taken as necessary. th einternet code didnt work for wi-fi; i have mobile internet, so didnt chase this up - just used from my own allowance

It was a fantastic stay in a location which was perfect. The room had everything I needed for my stay! Thank you so much Seema Fantastic communication via text too! Definitely would stay again or recommend someone to stay.

The main front door, was a bit tricky to get in via the key but everything else was spot on!

Awful landlady not stopped badgering ,e since i left as i accidentally picked up tye keys with my dirty socks. Offreed to post them back but she refused, in the end I handed the keys in to a police station spo that the police could deal with her instead of me

The fact that on the day of arrival I was told that I couldn't check in until 7, despite the advert clearly stating 530. Being ignored entirely by the host. The host being unable to get their own assistants phone number correct. The entry instructions to the property not working. Being stranded unable to access the building with less than an hour til my works Xmas party which I had travelled more than 200 miles for, having to panic book a room miles away so I could make it to the party which I mainly missed, incurring additional costs due to taxis and distress. The host randomly popping up the day after to say 'oops sorry I was on a plane my bad I will refund send me your bank details ' - like by this point I'll trust this person with my bank details? Then when I explained to them how their incompetence had ruined my entire weekend, they made out how they were the victim. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. Thinking they're doing me a favour for refunding me for a service they didn't even provide ? Baffling behaviour. How booking.com lets people like this operate is beyond me.
