Leicester City centre en suite budget room for 1 in 2 bed apartment

Location was central to the centre of Leicester so grabbing everything I needed was quick and easy, being provided a set of keys to get in and out of the property allowed me to have a lot less stress during the night as I had no worries getting back and in to my room.

The mattress was a bit rough for me but that's each to their own and the bathroom lock didn't work but was made up for by the room being ensuite and the room itself having a lock for the inside.

The lady was very nice, listening when I had problems that’s about everything nice about this place unfortunately. When I requested a hair dry and a padlock she brought it even if it was late in the night.

I was visiting Leicester for a conference, I needed a peaceful stay but not what I received. Unfortunately the room was not cleaned after the previous guest. The sheets and the cutleries were used, the bathroom was not cleaned. The toilet was dirty. The table was also very dirty. There was hair everywhere. I had to change the sheets and clean the place myself for which the lady kindly offered me a discount. The air quality in the room was very bad that I woke up feeling sick every morning. The fridge was broken therefore had an old fridge smell in the room and there was a half drank cola bottle in it. There is a huge fridge at the entrance of the place which also is not working therefore the whole place was smelling like an unplugged fridge. If you are sensitive to odors it can be very hard. Bed was big but not comfortable, the springs are probably worn-out.

Extremely pleasant host, very welcoming. Quiet and no problems

If I had to be critical, the bed was a tiny bit uncomfortable but I am very tall so that sometimes happens. I think a new shower head may be needed but that's been ultra-critical.
