Tree Top Cabin with Private Hot Tub

It was cold in the cabin during the night

Peaceful and beautiful location. Superb TreeHouse with a great hot tub. Hosts very reachable and helpful. Very comfy bed.

The fact that the property was filthy, the shower hadn’t been cleaned, the bathroom door didn’t close from the living space and was draughty. The fact that the fully equipped kitchen turned out to be a one hob camping stove and empty ice cool box, with no drinkable water. Which we found out after we’d arrived at our wedding venue so too late to plan for that. Out of the 2 cups that were provided, only one was usable. The guest info folder was broken, stained (with mould?) and empty. The flooring was lifting, the hot tub looked dangerous and damaged. And to top it all off, there was black and white mould blooming int he living area. This was meant to be a gorgeous honeymoon break, but ended up being the treehouse of horror. Stayed one night as we were so upset. Asked for refund but being ignored. Currently seeking legal advice.

This is the 2nd visit, we love how peaceful and quiet it is here. Once you park up you don’t have to leave again the views are amazing. Partner loved hearing the hot tub and keeping up with adding wood to the burners. We never used the kitchen facilities however we love the option is there, and we could cook is we wanted to, however with us only being away from the kids for one night we ate before arrival so only needed to bring snacks.

Bathroom area needs to revamped needs a little tlc.

The bed was very comfy and the hot tub was all stocked and ready to go. I appreciated the tea and coffee facilities and crockery and cutlery. Very concise instructions on location.

Some of the windows wouldn't shut properly and the kitchen tap didn't work. Not really an issue because the bathroom tap worked fine and was literally right next to it.

Nothing I could not find the location

The owner apologized and said they were sleeping 😴 I spent £135 for a stay in a place I could not find... locals, also commented that I was not the first person to ask... Bless they didn't know where it was. Is this a scam ? After messaging the owner to explain they said no refund would be issued .. I had to get a taxi from the lane it was supposedly on.... £20 to Barmouth then another £117 on a stay at another hotel.... I'm Seven months pregnant and I'm now so stressed out that a trip I booked for my partners birthday went horribly wrong. DO NOT TRUST .....
