Gavin communicated clearly before the stay and then ensured everything was okay the day of arrival. The property is stunning and unique, in the best way. It was very clean and comfortable, with shops not too far away and the surrounding areas stunning!

Quiet location, nice views of sheep, cosy and warm, nice touches with Christmas decorations, we appreciated the wine and biscuits. Host made getting in on arrival easy and was easy to contact if needed

Great location for walking in the north Pennines and the Lake District. Very comfortable and well equipped. Lovely views from the sitting room.

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this peaceful but well located property. The layout of the accomodation has been very well thought out. As a couple with a fairly young, large labrador we found there was more than enough room for us all with a lovely enclosed yard area for our dog to run around. Spotlessly clean and lots of information available for walks etc. Gavin and Wendy were available but also let you enjoy your time in peace. We will certainly recommend this property to any of our friends looking for a similar experience.

Peaceful location in an historical unusual building. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Great parking and cosy wood burner and well equipped kitchen and clean property .

We can’t think of anything except we waited 5 days for a train to arrive 😁.

On arrival we loved the place also we liked the scenery where it was clean and tidy the owners welcome us aswell lovely place to relax everything was just perfect
