The Hook BnB, Port Blair

The hosts welcome their guests as best as they can. After booking the accommodation, I received information about the possibility of a free transfer (you can choose a free transfer to or from the place of accommodation). The rooms are very well equipped, everything as described on the website. The hosts prepare wonderful Indian meals and you can talk to them about various topics related to Indian culture. They provide literature/albums about the Andaman Islands. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Very nice stay at the Hook bnb. The hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming. They arranged a pick up from the ferry terminal and offered advice about our stay in Port Blair. The breakfast was delicious!

Very comfortable and friendly, accommodating hosts. The room was well equipped and sparkling clean, and a lovely breakfast. They had lots of info about PB and history of the Andamans to share. We were offered complimentary pick up from the ferry, and then a drop to the airport. Great value!

We didn't find any restaurant within walking, but only a short auto ride away there are many

The hosts are the sweetest couple and made my stay incredibly special- from the driver picking me up at the ferry, the first welcome coconut water & lunch , to the amazing seafood dinner and balcony view ;) They really treated me like family and ensured I had everything that I needed for my brief stay and helped me plan future trips on the other islands as well. The room was lovely and I appreciated the treats in the fridge and complimentary toiletries as well.

The room was modern and well-equipped, with a balcony and views out to sea. Delicious traditional southern Indian food was served for dinner and breakfast. Above all, the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, arranging for us to be picked up from the airport and dropped off the next morning at the ferry jetty. They were also full of interesting and helpful information and advice about what to visit in the Port Blair area and also at our next Island destination. It was a pleasure to chat with them and learn more about Indian Tamil culture, We shall certainly be returning!

Captain Dhanavelu and Revathi ma'am were such great hosts. We stayed initially for 3 nights and then later for a night after completing the island hopping. The entire journey with Hook BnB from the point of getting picked up at the airport, to getting dropped back again, was one of the most seamless and effortless journeys for our family. Their service exceeded that of fancy hotels. There is so much to mention. Food- absolutely delicious south Indian + local cuisines made right at their home. We were blessed to have their seafood and authentic veg/non-veg based dishes that were homemade, yet so professionally done. Rooms- very well done, with all the necessary amenities and a first class view of the harbour through which all the ships went to the Haddo Jetty. The balcony constantly got extremely cool air throughout the day. Service-absolutely top notch, at no moment did we feel our wants weren't met, and in fact they went beyond. When we weren't expecting anything, we were surprised much more. From the coconut water in the morning, to their delicious south Indian desserts. There is so much to mention, but it would take ages and would require several volumes. Iif you're planning a trip to port Blair, and want to stay at the heart of it, don't think twice. If you want delicious food, don't think at all. The hosts will keep good care of you, and give you all the necessary contacts for your further travels within Andaman and Nicobar.
