The Funky Robin - Whitby

Location was excellent close to west cliff. Communication with host was excellent too

WiFi was very poor but I think that’s down to the area

Good location, great size, comfortable bed, high pressure shower

A few niggles on cleaning and maintenance

This property is a really good size with a large,bright,airy living room leading to a small but well equipped kitchen. Nice comfortable sofa too. A nice sized bedroom and comfortable bed leading on to a small but clean and functional bathroom. The walk in shower was much appreciated rather than the over bath variety found in a lot of other properties. A really good location within walking distance of all Whitby has to offer. I would rent this apartment again.

The key safe lock is worn out and it took some time to be able to get to the apartment key. The whole key safe needs replacing. Similarly the lock on the door to the apartment was quite tricky to deal with. Once locked it was secure but you had to do a lot of juggling about to get the door to lock. No designated car parking but we did find space quite easily in a nearby car park.

The latch on the door into the apartment was not easy to do.

Nice apartment in a decent location and was as described. It was equipped with everything you need for a short break and comfortable, especially the bed.

It would have been more helpful if the pre-arrival information included that you are provided with a parking permit, rather than finding this out once inside- which in our case was after we'd paid for 2 days parking unnecessarily. The check in time felt late, and the check out time early

Nice amount of space, this apartment was clean and had a great bed. It was located in a good neighborhood, near enough to walk everywhere, and the parking pass was good to have.

While it was overall a good place, having stayed in many Airbnb and VRBO accommodations including other places in the UK, we were surprised to find that there were no standard amenities. No body wash, shampoo, soap other than one little bar, paper towels, napkins, kleenex, coffee or tea, and no coffee maker despite there being one in the description. We did contact the hosts who said they would provide a welcome pack of tea, but it didn't arrive (we did leave the key in the box daily as requested). other than that it was a good stay.

A great stay - lovely place in a handy location. Nicely decorated, comfy bed, warm and toasty. Everything we needed.
