Beautiful, 3 Bedroom Terrace, 2 minutes walk from Chester train station.

The house was very clean. The location was excellent. And the hosts were very helpful, sending video instruction ahead of the stay and responsive during my stay when I requested a late checkout.

A bigger dining table or just a few additional chairs would have been great. We ended up eating on the sofa as we didn't have enough chairs to sit at the table. The single beds are very narrow - makes sleep a bit precarious.

Really clean and spacious. Hosts were really responsive and helpful. Sent videos to show how to enter the house and info as to how best find the house. Self check in so no hassle. Had everything you'd need in the house. It was super quiet. The wifi was excellent. Really close to the train station . We went to blue planet aquarium (10 mins), Chester zoo (10 mins) and the ice cream farm(20 mins). Cheshire oaks is beside the aquarium. We drove from Holyhead having taken the ferry and that was only a 90 min drive. So the location was brilliant for our trip. I'd use the house again as it's clearly well maintained and the hosts care.

I missed my air fryer as there wasn't one but that's a real first world problem!!! But the oven was good there in fairness so it wasn't a big deal.

Comfortable space , compact well laid out kitchen living area, plenty crockery, utensils and fridge space as well as dining table. Good sized telly and viewing area

Some touching up of paintwork in toilet area required.Extra pillows should be available.Front door not easy to open.

The living room and kitchen are decorated and look very nice, and are a nice space and comfortable and clean.

There was no thought put into the bedrooms at all, the master one should be upstairs in the bigger room. Also the bedrooms apart from one didn't have anything to hang clothes on not even hooks on the back of the doors especially in the master bedroom. We were there for my daughters wedding so we needed to hang up our clothes. The mattresss were very springy so at the edges there was no support and you felt like you would roll off the bed, the worst bed and most uncomfortable nights we've ever had, hardly any sleep for 2 nights, with very thin pillows. The bathroom needs touching up with paint and the toilet roll holder was a stick on one that kept coming off. It said there was parking, so I thought that meant at the house. It wasn't clear on the booking. I didn't realise it was a car park 7 mins walk away which was very inconvenient. Over all I feel like the house is very ill equipt (bedrooms) and not worth what was paid for it. Whenever we have stayed in cottages there is usually a welcome pack with milk biscuits or something. Milk at least would have been nice for the tea and coffee you had there. I'm really sorry to say these things but it was disappointing. The front door lock was also very difficult to get out of.

The location was near the train station and not far from the centre of Chester but wouldn’t want to walk alone on the back streets

Great position 5 minute walk from the railway station. We enjoyed having a kitchen and washing machine after a week in hotels. Handy to convenience stores and take away places. A good walk to the city centre but we felt being in close proximity to the station our priority. Comfortable beds and good shower over bath. Very quiet location.
