Bath Lodge - Arree Stays

Cute house in a super convenient location. Very close to the Shell Grotto and Margate Caves with the eateries of Northdown Road on the doorstep and the old town a short walk away. Perfect amount of space for a family of four. Lovely and warm despite it being freezing outside. Great communication from the hosts and we were able to check in early, which was fantastic.

Not much! The council could definitely do with picking up the rubbish on the street, but in terms of the property itself, if had to choose something I would say that there isn’t a huge amount kitchen workspace- just something to note if you plan on cooking there. But equally it is what you would expect given the size of the house, and it wasn’t a problem for us. (The kitchen is also very well equipped).

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lodge. We had all the amenities we wanted, the facilities were great, the setup of the place was warm and modern and the location was really wonderful and convenient for us during our stay. Thanks for your exceptional hospitality. We will happily return again.

Such a lovely stay in Margate. The place had that perfect mix of coastal charm and comfort bright, airy, and spotless. You can tell the host really cares about the details; even the little things like fresh towels and good coffee made a difference. The location was ideal just a short walk to the beach and old town, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful. I spent mornings watching the light change over the sea and evenings wandering to grab fish and chips by the harbour. The host was kind and quick to reply to messages, which made everything super easy. Honestly, I left feeling like I’d discovered a bit of a hidden gem. Would absolutely stay again.

The hosts were great - kept in touch via WhatsApp with helpful info and to ensure we arrived safely, but were never intrusive. The property felt clean and welcoming and it was easy to get everywhere we needed. There was enough room in the bedroom for a travel cot and a highchair was provided. Helpful instructions were also provided for other key things like the washing machine - which was super helpful as a family!
