Relatively friendly staff and punctual regarding pick up from airport and drop off.

Breakfast, food, was below standard. Worst thing the hoteland Booking.com did was, that on the 19th December sent me the message that Christmas Dinner was mandatory, at 45USD pp. Hotel was booked on the 1st of October, and cancelation was allowed up to the 1st of December. And yet, after we already checked in, we were told that the dinner was mandatory. This is daylight robbery by the Hotel and Booking.com as an accomplice. I received message from Booking.com about that so I assume they agreed to that.

Staff were helpful, especially those at the reception. They booked everything for me and they helped with everything. Close to everywhere as the island is quite small.

Unbearable voice coming from the construction nearby, almost impossible to stay in the room during the day. Also, very few option in the breakfast for international guests, mainly for asia and india. They asked for extra money for using the jakuzi in the bathroom, imagine I need to pay something extra for using the thing that is already in my bathroom? I have never seen this.

The only thing that I like in this hotel is pricing for tours and activities. Cheaper than outside shops in Maafushi.

The list is endless... this might be the worst hotel chain I have ever stayed in. This is the first hotel where I felt that even after booking a room and paying the full amount, the room was not secured. They literally denied my booking and kept us waiting. They simply said to pay for the 31st Night Dinner (which is not mentioned in the booking as mandatory) else just cancel the booking. Think for a moment that, you are on vacation and the hotel you booked does not allow you to enter as they want you to pay for their function and they make it mandatory for you to participate. Also, they know that there are no rooms available in Maafushi. Anyway, I paid with no expectations. Rooms: Good, spacious, with old furniture, TV and equipment. Breakfast: On 1st Jan we were able to have a good breakfast. The rest of the days the options were not good. Dinner (15$ buffet) : DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. The dishes were tasteless & cold, without any variety. So, after the first night, we never went there. There are much better options available outside. 31st Night Dinner(75$): Same as the 15$ dinner but with live band, dj and prizes. The spread of food is more, but don't worry, that does not include any fancy items. An item called "Sushi" without soy sauce and test like rice roll. Bit root juice, tastes like syrup, some grilled items feel like rubber etc. 31st Night Firework: We have asked some outsider and it seems that is better in Avani. And we watched there. It was good.

Very clean, tidy and nicely located facility. Only 2-3 minutes walk to the beach. Ample to restaurants all around giving so many options. The staff are very polite and helpful.

There are construction sites on both side of the hotel, blocking the view of surroundings.

The staff are exceptional—friendly, approachable, and always readily available to assist.

Our room was quite small, and being on the first floor next to the street made it difficult for us to sleep due to the noise.

There was a bad smell in the bathroom. The same thing happened when we changed the room. Also the towels most of them are very old. The food was not of a great quality.

we booked the property in advance and later came to know that there is a party on 24th which is compulsory to attend which is against the booking policy since it was not mentioned the time of booking. mattress was not comfortable. the room wall was not well maintained. the shelves were broken. the rooms 107 were had bad odour.
