1 Martello Beach 8 berth holiday home with pools

The camp site was lovely and very family oriented, everyone was friendly and staff where lovely. The caravan was lovely.

The surrounding area outside the park wasn't amazing, quite rough, but found things to do with the kids

Easy to find location, quick drive to city center, walkable distance from the beach. The park site was busy during half term but actually no noise, which is what we needed for a little break away. Communication with owner was great, flexible with our wishes. Cleaning was reasonably ok, just a few things we noticed as we went to use them(from previous people renting, oven trays had been used but not cleaned, couple of forks/knives... the usual). Essentials provided in the kitchen.

Mobilhome was fine. The park's reception made a good job to insist that we get the passes to use the facilities,at extra cost. Then you have to go to the pool reception to book your slot, which is a fine process. However the slots are bookable 2 days in advance, so we bought passes, but not possible to book sessions as we were told everyday was fully booked.so on a short stay, it seems pointless. We wemt to ask for a refund as we couldnt use them. They eventually found us 2 sessions, to avoid a refund. Bit of communication needed between reception and pool reception, maybe keeping some slots open for people coming on short breaks.

Great location Caravan situated in a quiet location but still not to far from all amenities , swimming pool , arcades ect. The evening entertainment was really good and kept our 4 children entertained. Caravan was clean and comfy and the added extras Of children's dvds Board games Hand towels Cleaning products Shower gel We're a lovely touch 😊 from Louise who was happy to help if I needed anything. Beach is just on door step of the complex and you can get a bus in to clacton Town too if you don't have your own transport x

everything was excellent

The accomodation was in excellent condition, well equipped with everything we needed, and very clean. The host was friendly and helpful. Location was good, a five minute walk to sandy beaches. Although we didn't use them, there are facilities in site eg takeaway, social club, pool, launderette.

The single bed I slept in was too narrow for an adult, and I wish I'd swapped myself into the other twin bedroom! Completely out of the owner's hands - the road into the site was in abysmal condition, very deep potholes.
