Lovely 2 bed apartment with hot tub log burner and off street parking

The hot tub was a great bonus. Rooms were a decent size and 2 doubles so was great for 2 couples to share. Shower was lovely and powerful. TV in both bedrooms and the lounge. Fully equipped kitchen. Large garden space. Very clean and tidy. Cosy feel with lamps to put on in the evening. Very close to shops and local attractions. Close to the church ruins which were interesting to see!

The not being able to leave windows open at night. Really needed to in the bedrooms as it was stuffy! The place had a damp smell to it which wasn't very nice. Would have loved to have lit a scented candle to combat that a bit but no candles are allowed, which I do understand can be a fire hazard.. Snuggle blankets would be a great addition to the apartment and maybe a lower mirror at the dressing table in the back bedroom.

3rd time staying at this property. It’s just perfect for us. Great location , hot tub is a lovely addition. Host is very friendly and communication is excellent. We will be back for sure !

Location, hot tub and facilities were great.

Bed in the green bedroom was very squeaky … changed room after first night. Darker curtains would be hugely beneficial!! Noise from above, with being workers using upstairs alarm clocks and early noise was disturbing. However understand this is not the owners fault.

The hot tub is a great addition and log burner would be amazing too in the colder months. The little touches made it special with the Prosecco and cake plus nice towels and robes for the hot tub.

The bathroom could do with being slightly updated as I feel the rest of the house has been more modernised, the upstairs apartment could be doing with some sound proofing as you can hear the footsteps and phones vibrating when it’s silent at night but wouldn’t put us off booking again just honest feedback :D

Nice house, location ok, a bit far from town centre. Quiet and pleasant neighbourhood

Could do with table and chairs inside but other than that everything was good.

Nothing was great

It felt like a home from home. The house was clean and comfortable and the real fire was lovely at night. My kids enjoyed exploring the ruins and plenty space to run around and have fun. The hot tub was delightful and fully covered so perfect in any weather

It was a little overlooked having neighbours upstairs but saying that we didn’t see or hear anyone so didn’t bother us at all.
