The Dairy - Quaint 1Br in Dartmoor National Park

Absolutely stunning property for our little festive stay with our 3 little dogs. Very cosy cottage that was bursting with character. There are beautiful walks straight out of the front door with rolling fields down the valley. My husband popped out to the shops ( 10 minutes away ) and had the delight in seeing around 12 deer coming across the field. Heather our host was the most kindest and welcoming lady, which made our fabulous stay so special. I had an appointment at Exeter hospital and Heather kindly accommodated us for a few hours more, so it tied in with the appointment time. What wonderful memories we took home with us. Thank you Heather once again for your hospitality and beautiful property.

Super tolle Wohnung mit sehr toller Ausstattung. Die Betreiber waren sehr nett und haben uns angerufen, dass wir ein Upgrade erhalten. Grössere Wohnung umsonst! Sehr toll, sehr schöne Einrichtung und Dekoration.

Leider war der Boden nicht sehr sauber. Der Teppich im Wohnzimmer war voller weisser Hundehaare, wie meine Socken ebenfalls. Ich habe den Staubsauer genommen und versucht zu putzen, der taugt aber nicht viel! Auch das Tischtuch und die Tischsets waren vor gebrauch verschmutzt. Schade… ansonsten wäre es eine 10!

Comfortable for the two of us with a lovely size bathroom. So peaceful with an amazing view, there’s a footpath straight from the grounds ideal for walking our dogs. Heather the owner is a lovely friendly lady made us very welcome.

Quirky little oroperty but with everything we needed for a 1 night stopover on our way back home from a week in Cornwall.

No enclosed outdoor area fir the dog but we knew this anyway. Its just our dog is unpredictable.

I decided on an impromptu birthday trip which also turned out to be the first trip with my puppy and we luckily came across this little gem of a place! The accommodation was as described and shown in the pictures within very lovely grounds and the air... was beyond fresh! My puppy and I were greeted very warmly by the lovely proprietress who went out of her way to make us feel very comfortable, she was also very helpful and gave very valuable advice around local amenities. The village pub a few doors down was also brilliant and welcoming, I enjoyed the quiz night thoroughly which was a riot and great laugh; and to my surprise, the punters very generously went out of their way to belt out an unexpected Happy Birthday song to me! Lovely memories to last me and my puppy a lifetime, I left feeling very well rested but hope to return soon! Thank you very much H!!!🩷

Really cosy and quiet, nice and dog friendly. Beautiful bathroom, amazing area, lovely and rural. Heather was extremely friendly

Wasn’t much equipment in the kitchen, was lacking things, for example there was no grater so a few more of the basics would be better as I like to cook meals when away. Bed wasn’t comfortable unfortunately and me and my daughter slept on the sofa, the cleaning could be better, there was what looked like coffee on the kitchen cupboard and bits like round the toilet and behind the bed and sofa could be cleaner.
