The Dairy - Quaint 1Br in Dartmoor National Park

Heather was amazing. We only met briefly but she was delightful. The place is located in a remote village and the roads up to the village are very narrow but worth it!

We were relaxed from the minute we arrived. Heather was a perfect host, the accommodation was exceptional and the views breathtaking. Will definitely be coming back.

Peace and quiet, we haven't had such a good rest in a long time. Beautiful surroundings, perfect location. About 25 minutes to the coast, and the same time to Dartmoor Park in the other direction. Great that you can come with a dog. Our girl fell in love with the horses, which are right next to the house. Right next to the property there is a public path for walking. Everything you need in the house. Heather made us a nice surprise and moved us to a bigger house without additional charges. Thank you again, I hope we will come back again.

Our host, Heather was on hand if we needed anything, very helpful and friendly. We had an upgrade which was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Very comfortable bed. Our place was up a flight of stairs but the property next door was on the ground level so good if stairs are an issue. Lovely view. Pub just a short walk down the village. We were very happy with the accommodation and had a lovely stay.

Getting to the property you have to take some very narrow lanes. Local pub was expensive

Heather was a very kind and solicitous host. She took great care of us, making sure we had blankets and hot water bottles (we stayed in February) and sharing tips about the property, local amenities and possible day trips. Heather even upgraded us to a larger cottage which was free at the time of our stay.

While comfortable, the accommodation was more homely than luxurious. If you are a design freak, that may be an issue. Otherwise, no problem.

My husband and I had a absolutely fantastic time at the Dairy. The cottage is adorable, and had everything you need, including little homely touches like hot water bottles and cosy blankets. It's in a lovely village with a great pub The Palk Inn just 2 mins walk away. The location was brilliant, Dartmoor walks and attractions like Haytor just a short drive away under 20 mins. The owners were so friendly and helpful. We brought our little dog with us, very dog friendly too.

everything, Heather was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Perfect stay!

When our time was up wish we could have stayed longer. Maybe next time.
