Stunning rural location with the delights of Dartmoor on its doorstep. The host gave us a free upgrade which made our holiday extra special, travelling with 2 young children and 2 dogs is never easy but the warm welcome, the relaxed atmosphere and the comfort of home from home with an extra bit of luxury, made it a lovely, relaxing stay. The rooms were comfortable, smart tv's in every room were greatly appreciated by the children. We look forward to going back.

The location was perfect! Out of the way high up in Hennock! Beautiful views, tranquil and relaxing! The cottage had everything we needed to make us comfortable!

It was a stunning refurbishment of a very old building, tastefully done with a mixture of exposed and painted stonework. Well equipped and comfortably furnished. The views from the property are absolutely stunning. Our host, Heather, was so friendly and welcoming and even acted as concierge by booking us a table at the local pub, The Palk. We had a fantastic meal there, the food, staff and the locals were all amazing. The view from the dining room is absolutely stunning. Our stay was made even more special by the arrival of a new foal!
