MBA COSY 4 bedroom house

The rooms was spacious and clean.

When we arrived, there were no radiators on. The weather outside was -3, so the property was cold. When trying to have a shower or wash the dishes, there was no hot water in the property, which means all of us had ice-cold showers. I'd say for the experience it was pricey.

The area is great, safe, quiet but 1 min walk from lots of shops, pubs and restaurants. Also 10 min easy walk to train station and harry potter free shuttle bus to/from studios. 4 bedroom with 150cm beds quite comfortable. Self check in. The owner let us do late check out for free and was very fast to respond. The house was warm and quiet.

Knowing the quality of houses in the UK, this house was ok for the price. The stairs are very small and steep, but managable. Only the shower on the room downstairs worked properly, the other one just had cold water and the one upstairs very hot water. The heating was making loud noises unless you regulate the radiators number properly. The owner wanted to come to fix it, but we didn't manage to meet as we were out all the time.

We were very disappointed with the water system. When we taking shower , the water was just small and warm. It just enough for 4 persons. The rest of 3 people took the cold shower in the cold weather.

Our stay was absolutely abysmal. Don't be fooled by the pictures. The house is really run down and filthy. The smell was really bad, the house is very damp. It has had a very fast renovation but is riddled in damp and has not been cleaned at all. The showers were black with mould, the dishwasher wasn't working, and the house next door had mattresses and rubbish thrown in the lawn. It's in a very run-down location we didn't really feel safe. Thankfully we had only booked 1 night to visit Harry Potter Studios. If our kids weren't so exhausted after travelling we would have found somewhere else to stay. We aren't picky but this place was a joke. We own 2 holiday let's ourselves and were shocked to see the standard of this place. I don't know who left previous positive reviews but this house is an absolute dive and we will be making a complaint to booking.com

Water was hot and it had good water pressure, also really good transport links for the train station ideally located.

The house smelt very badly of damp, there were clearly lots of patches on the walls where it had had damp issues and been bodged up. The toilet upstairs isn't bolted to the floor properly, the dishwasher didn't work and everything in the property looked very tired. It was basically a student house and we were very disappointed. Luckily we were only there for one night and only spent about 12 hours in the property. Also the owner advised me we needed a parking permit and I had to send £10 to his bank account to pay for this however the next morning when we checked the signs you actually don't need a parking permit from Saturday at 10pm...we arrived on the Saturday evening in the dark so hadn't seen this and obviously wouldn't have paid for a permit we didn't actually need. The owner must have known this and yet neglected to say.

Nice tidy property as described. The host were great and were able to provide on street parking. We went to see the Harry Potter and with it being 10 minutes drive away everything went great. Thanks would stay again.

Wasn't anything not to like.

location was perfect for anyone with a family looking to go to harry potter tour, its a short walk to the train station and everything is on you doorstep, shops takeaways etc, if you have a car, the host will arrange a permit so you can park right out side the house if the space is available otherwise you'll easily find one close by. House was very clean and beds were comfortable and clean. Any questions were answered promptly and everything regarding the stay was effortless from start to finish.

Don't have any complaints

I liked the location very close to shops so was convenient with kids. I liked the stylish beds very nice.

I didn't like the garden I feel it could be made better would make the feel if the house much nicer
