Star House - Bari Centro

The flat was very spacious, clean and quiet. The kitchen was well equipped. It was very close to the station even not far walking to the centre of Bari.

Would add more wine glasses, there were only 2. As it was apartment go or 6 people. And some more cloths for the kitchen and more shower gels for bathroom.

Apartment clean and comfortable. Contact with personel very good. I was a bit shocked about check-in rules. When we arrived, we had to send in our photos along with the document. It is worth bearing in mind that, in addition, you have to pay the tax yourself. I didn't like the fact that we had to clean up after ourselves in the kitchen and throw away the rubbish before we left, otherwise we would have been charged extra. Of course, I understand that one should leave things tidy after oneself, but this is a bit of an exaggeration.

Good location, close to the railway station. Close to the center of the city. Quite and comfortable.

Despite renting the whole appartment only 1 room was opened on our arrival. It took us some efforts to convince to open another room. We have never met the situation when host decides how many rooms you will get counting number of guests. Be careful when booking this appartment. Kitchen supplies can also be better. There is lack of cutlery and cleaning wipes.

Not enough cooking utensils for 6 people, social area was dining room which is spacious but not enough seats

Great location very close to the train station. The space in the apartment was huge, 2 bedrooms and a big kitchen. Both washing machine and dryer in the bathroom was a pleasant surprise, even if we didn't use them. Comfortable beds. A good stay overall, despite the negative experience below.

The check-in experience needs a lot of improvement. They have chosen to automate the check-in, which is fine if it works, but in our case it did not. We arrived around midnight with a small child, exhausted from long travelling, and due to that we made a mistake with the address, confusing 43 and 43A, which look identical. While this mistake was our fault, the assistant talking to us on WhatsApp was not able to deal with it well - they asked us to send a photo of the doorway and door number where we were, and even when we sent that, they did not detect and correct our mistake from the photo. Because of this, the owner needed to come to the property, complaining that he was already in bed. He blamed us for not following the instructions properly, even though his assistant could have solved the problem for him if he had trained them properly. We were sitting on the street holding our sleeping child for 45 minutes before we were finally able to check in - yes, we made our own mistake, but the melodramatic response we got from this host will stay in our memories as the worst point of our visit to Puglia.
