Arsulana Eco Lodge & Spa

Stunning property, beautiful 2 bed villa with an amazing view. Location was good for Aberdeen waterfall, white water rafting and Adams peak. Staff were friendly. Food was delicious. Lots of activities to do from the property. Good yoga. Upon arrival we had a Lovely arrival ceremony. Tea and a blessed bracelet. If booking a taxi be very specific with the time you want as they booked it later than asked because they wanted us to relax. But they did book for us.

No mention online of property being alcohol free. They said it was a Buddhist property when we got there but there’s is no mention of this so they did expect us to adhere to these rules e.g when doing Adam’s peak no eating meat before. Would have been good to know before booking. They also don’t serve beef of pork. However, there are these options in the menu so it’s out of date. They wanted us to pick our meals at the meal before everytime which was a bit annoying because we didn’t know what we wanted. Didn’t have a lot of what was on the menu- only fruit juice or water, my mum is gluten free and they wouldn’t let her have hoppers for breakfast when it’s on the dinner menu. No female masseuse and not told before getting one.

Bei der Begrüßung hat uns Nuwan mit einer Sinnesreise empfangen, was den Empfang sehr herzlich und besonders gemacht hat. Der Service war super freundlich und zuvorkommend und die Lage des Hotels, mitten im Wald war super entspannend. Unser Ausflug zum Laxapane Waterfall war ein Traum und der Fahrer Hashan war super nett und hat mir sogar einen Blumenstrauß selbst gemacht.

Es war alles super, keine Verbesserungsvorschläge, nur dass sie mehr Werbung machen sollten für die schöne Lage.

Stayed here for one night and absolutely loved it. The hotel is surrounded by jungle with a river running alongside which makes the setting very peaceful. We only stayed for one night but to really enjoy the full experience, at least two nights would be ideal. The suites closer to the river seem to have the best views. The food was delicious and authentic and the manager was very helpful and guided us throughout our stay. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful experience at Arsulana Eco Lodge. The food was amazing, and the staff made our visit very special. We went there to celebrate my wife's birthday, and they arranged a beautiful candlelight dinner along with lovely birthday decorations, which was a great surprise.❤️ Our most favorite thing about this place is the location. It is surrounded by peaceful nature, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The calm atmosphere and the delicious food made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway, especially for couples who want to spend some quality time together. 😊

Everything was perfect, but the floor of the villa is very slippery. It would be better if suitable slippers were provided in the villas for guests’ comfort.

The location is jungle with the river alongside. Located on 3rd floor, room balcony provided excellent view and feel of bring in jungle canopy. Staff very attentive & pleasant. The Aberdeen waterfalls stunning. An additional cost, but well worth it. Discovered owner donates profits to charitable causes, including cancer hospitals. Employs local people. Made the experience a real feel-good.

One of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had! The surrounding nature and buildings are so beautiful, it is such a peaceful and relaxing environment and everyone who works there is so friendly and helpful, especially Nuwan the manager who arranged everything for me, from meals to yoga to transport. I stayed here for two nights and it was the perfect start to my Sri Lanka travels. The food was incredible, some of the nicest food I’ve ever had, super fresh and authentic Sri Lankan dishes. I did a yoga class which was great and fell asleep every night to the sounds of birds and crickets. You might even see some monkeys! I would highly recommend, no faults whatsoever.

We really appreciated the attention to all the details. The room was very confortable. The staff provided excellent service and were very friendly.

Wir haben fünf Nächte in der Arsulana Eco Lodge verbracht (ursprünglich waren nur vier geplant, aber es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir spontan verlängert haben). Die Lodge liegt wunderschön und sehr ruhig inmitten der Natur – die Alleinlage war für uns etwas ganz Besonderes und perfekt zum Abschalten. Das gesamte Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich, herzlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Man hat sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Unser Zimmer war wunderschön, sauber und liebevoll gestaltet, mit einem traumhaften Blick auf den Fluss, in dem man sogar baden konnte. Es werden auch Ausflüge angeboten. Wir haben einen Ausflug zu einem Wasserfall gemacht, der sehr gut organisiert war und uns ebenfalls sehr gefallen hat. Insgesamt war die Arsulana Eco Lodge für uns einer der schönsten Aufenthalte während unserer Sri Lanka Reise. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
