Arsulana Eco Lodge & Spa

Arsulana was a beautiful retreat to spend a few days. The facilities were well kept, beautiful setting, the staff was above and beyond excellent, and it was very good value for money.

The property is stunning. The location is great but if you take the wrong road down it can be difficult - we don’t know this as it wasn’t explained on the booking

The only thing wrong was there were no staff available for treatments - this is because we did come out of season - and so staff had been sent home - but again this wasn’t explained upon booking - however we had a great stay and the staff arranged a waterfall walk for us instead

Staff were lovely and the area its in is unbelievably peaceful. The nature is amazing, the rooms are very comfortable and the pools clean and good temperature! And the staff and everyone is very accommodating. Tuk tuks came to pick us up everywhere and we had fun white water rafting.

A bit pricey for use of the sauna/steam room and because it's so remote Tuk tuks can be more expensive than what you're used to in the towns but that's expected. No beer available for dinner

Si vous cherchez un endroit au calme au milieu de la nature, c’est le bon endroit ! Le personnel était très aimable et nous a même sur-classé ce qui est toujours agréable.

Malheureusement l’hôtel semble profiter de sa localisation en appliquant des tarifs assez élevés sur la restauration (750 lkr une bouteille d’eau qu’on trouve à 100 lkr en magasin) et les activités.

Die Umgebung ist wunderschön – komplett eingebettet in die Natur und perfekt für Erholung und Entspannung. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und komfortabel eingerichtet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das überaus freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal, das stets bemüht ist, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Da das Hotel sehr abgelegen liegt, empfiehlt es sich, die Anreise bzw. Transporte im Voraus zu organisieren – dabei ist das Hotel gerne behilflich. Handyempfang gibt es kaum (teilweise gar nicht), dafür funktioniert das WLAN in der Unterkunft ausgezeichnet. Das Essen war ausgesprochen lecker, mit einer großen Auswahl an Gerichten. Da die Anlage mitten in der Natur liegt, sollte man sich nicht davon überraschen lassen, wenn man ab und zu einen Käfer oder auch mal einen kleinen Gecko sieht – das gehört einfach zur authentischen Umgebung dazu. Insgesamt ein wunderbarer Ort, um abzuschalten und die Natur in vollen Zügen zu genießen.

Located deep inside the jungle, the villa was next to natural bathing pool , beautiful surrounding.big villas and nice restaurant.

De accomodatie was fantastisch! Alsof je in een sprookje terecht kwam!
