GBGBGBJohn and Adele were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The room was cosy but had everything we needed (plus a jacuzzi bath which was perfect the morning after attending a wedding!). The bed was incredibly comfortable, and breakfast was great with a full English made to order, coffee (or tea) and juice waiting for us. A big thank you as well to Tina, who kindly gave us a lift when our taxi fell through — really above and beyond!
The only challenge was getting taxis/Ubers in the area, but that’s just the nature of the countryside and nothing to do with The Board Inn. If we'd booked a local firm in advance we would have been fine.

GBGBA beautiful place to stay inside and outside. Very pretty scenery. We came to go to a wedding at danby Castle our nephew and family were in the same place and we were kindly let to their room to change etc before we could get in our room fabulous. We had our breakfast together that was really kind thanks and the breakfast was delicious.
Can't say I didn't like anything it was perfect for us at the time, I would recommed this place.
