Perfect 1BR In Prime Location & View of Stadiums

Location is everything and this place was perfect for all things downtown.

There were 3 different codes. One for the building, one for the elevator and one for the apartment. This was annoying

It was a fine place. The furnishings were ordinary. There was nothing special about it so I resent being pressured by all types of businesses to rate things as 5. The whole rating system is corrupt.

I LOVED the location! The apartment itself was super cute. Very spacious and decorated beautifully. The TV is super easy to use. The wifi is a plus. The coffee maker & available coffee is really a nice touch! I think the fact that there's a full kitchen is an awesome availability in case your stay is extended. Though the constant codes to get in and out are a bit of a nuisance mainly for the elevator, I greatly appreciate the security it gives to keep out those that aren't staying. Regardless of my "dislikes" below, I will absolutely keep this place in mind for places to stay in Detorit!! Everything is within walking distance in the summer or a few minute lyft drive!

From arrival to check out, It was cold even with the radiators turned to high. The bedroom only stayed warm with the door closed. Both kitchen and bathroom soap dispensers were low. The bathroom vent could use a really good cleaning. The bathroom sink drain has a slight odor emitting from it. The tub didn't drain properly, so the water got to about above my feet and stayed until I was done and stepped out. It fully drained about 3 minutes later. I noticed a cobweb behind the entrance door as well as the "gap" at the top of the door where the weather stripping should/could be replaced. The instructions for entry "after hours" should be clearer as we came back from a concert around 1am. Came through the front entrance, got to the glass door, put the door code in, and was denied access. After a few attempts, we decided to try the other door, a few feet from the front door, and were successful. I feel that if the front entrance isn't available " after hours," the directions should state so. The full-length mirror in the bedroom had quite a bit of dust build up. All these are fixable, only if brought to attention. If this was my business, I'd want to know these things. Call me a nit-picker or extremely observant. Again, I WILL ABSOLUTELY recommend Ashley Apartments to anyone looking for a perfect place downtown!

The location was perfect for what we had planned for our trip. The size was perfect & amenities were exactly what we needed.

The only complaint I have is that the drain for the shower was slow (not sure if that was user error in opening the plug, but I tried everything I knew)

Very nice, clean apartment. Perfect location and lots of parking close by.

It was a decent place

There was some sort of smell that was in the elevator and in the apartment that was somewhat off putting but the overall apart was nice.
