Meall Ard Self Catering Pod - Isle of South Uist

It was superb. View is fabulous. Own private spacious garden and drive area, and you are not overlooked or next door to anyone. The owners have designed this so tastefully and have tried to consider everything. We were super impressed with how well they had thought things out whilst maximising space eg Having an overhead heater in the bathroom next to the towel hook to dry the towels/a hidden microwave in the cupboard to save surface space. It was truly wonderful and we would 100% recommend.

Only one thing we would have loved and it's irrelevant really... but a throw or a blanket for watching the sunset would have been the icing on the cake for my.girlfriend. The sunsets are fantastic. We really loved our stay here

The scenic location and peaceful environment. The Pod had everything we needed & was clan,cosy and comfortable. The shower room/toilet was spacious,& beds were really comfortable.

Location was superb. Pod was a gem of a place. Had everything we needed. Ideal in hot and cold weather. Beautifully presented. Amazing place.

Beautiful position overlooking the sea loch and across the water to Lochboisdale.

The Pod was exactly as described and shown in the photos. Very clean, all equipment obviously very new and well kept. The cupboards are well stocked with cooking equipment and creatively laid out for the small space available. The welcome pack was much appreciated, including milk and cheese! And the toiletries are lovely! The location is very quiet and rural, exactly what we wanted, and the views are incredible as described.

Absolutely beautiful location, very well laid out pod with everything you could possibly need, host was great, locals very friendly. had a fantastic stay.

Remote location with stunning views. Good amount of space within the site of the pod for car parking. Nice area of decking with a picnic bench. Level and quality of equipment very good with nothing extra needed. Nice walk-in shower, comfortable main area and fully equipped kitchen. Nice touch to provide some milk, cheese, jams etc. Good level of communication when we hit a problem with our ferry being cancelled and helpful responses.

Nothing not to like, but be sure to keep a look-out for the property on the right and not be staring at the fabulous views on the left and drive straight past it! If the road turns unmade you have gone too far.

Everything, it was an ideal place to rest our heads after a day's fishing on this wonderful island . The pod was clean, well laid out, and so peaceful plus the views looking across south lochboisdale especially with the sun hitting it in the morning were stunning .

I could say the weather but that wasn't the pods fault 😀. Can't rate it highly enough brilliant place

The pod is brilliantly kitted out and spotless. The view is wonderful. Amazing to have a full oven and lovely to have such a selection of goodies and quality soaps.

The mattress (a topper would help). Would be nice to have names of owners/staff.
