Meall Ard Self Catering Pod - Isle of South Uist

The pod was complete in every sense of the word. Situated on a small hill overlooking the bay gives wonderful views. It has a full kitchen, a small table and chairs, sofa, surprisingly large shower, and a two person bed wich was a little snug for the two of us. The pod was decorated very nicely. The owners left a small welcome package as wel. The deck outside with lighting finished it off. It truly was a luxurious and cosy pod wich I recommend to anyone, even if you never slept in a pod before, like us. Dick & jorien Netherlands

I’ve stayed in pods before and love them. Gorgeous Meall Ard is truly in a league of its own. It’s outstandingly well equipped, comfortable and very cosy. The layout is an absolute credit to the owners, utilising the space to top effect. Luxurious Highland soap products and lovely bed linen adds to the amazing experience. Outside space is a treat and I sat at breakfast time soaking up the view across to Lochboisdale. Watched beautiful sunsets and enjoyed the deck area lit up after dark. I would definitely choose to stay here when back to the islands. Big thank you for all the welcome treats too

quality fittings , everything we could possibly need was supplied along with some thoughtful extras pod was spotlessly clean with surprisingly large shower which was fantastic , well positioned on the hill for great views over the ferry terminal we loved everything about it

Beautifully situated on small road overlooking wonderful views of South Uist. The Pod is compact but well‐equipped and everything is very clean. Hosts had thoughtfully provided basic foods such as eggs and cheese which was very acceptable! Wifi worked very well.

Nothing really except that it might be an idea to move the picnic table out of the prevailing wind. Would still get the beautiful views .
