ROI loved it here! So quiet, I could hear the fountains from the Villa d'Este garden. Although the entrance is directly from the street, it's in a corner that gets very little foot traffic (and no cars, it's a Limited Traffic Zone as well as pedestrian zone) and the door is very secure. I did not find it dark, as other reviews have mentioned. I liked the quirky spiral staircase leading up to the mezanine floor (where the bed is). I didn't meet the host but we communicated over Whatsapp and they sent all the information ahead of time.
CAThe location beside Villa d'Este was perfect. The streets are wonderful walking around at night.
The bed was harder than we normally like. It took a while for the heater to warm the residence up.
PLCABeautiful, historic loft with iron spiral staircase to bedroom, easy access to everything, loved the toilet and sink in upstairs area, and a fully equipped suite. Francesca made us welcome despite our last minute booking and offered discounted meals at their downtown restaurant
