The Cattleya Hotel, Near Mumbai International Airport

Only room space is small otherwise all facilities are good. Good for 1-2 day stay

The location of the hotel was excellent and easily accessible. It was very close to the airport—just around 30 minutes of travel time. The hotel, including the room and bathroom, was clean and well-maintained. The TV was connected to free Wi-Fi, and I was also provided with separate Wi-Fi access as a guest. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the staff were very polite and helpful.

The room size was quite small. It had a double bed and a small table for food, but space was very limited. If two people stay in the room, one person practically has to stay on the bed to let the other move around. The distance from the bed to the bathroom door was barely 1.5 feet — that gives an idea of how cramped the room was. The price, including GST, was approximately ₹3000, which is not justified given the room size and overall standards. Other hotels in this price range offer much better space and value. Additionally, the hotel does not have a kitchen or restaurant, which is acceptable. A menu card is provided in the room for ordering food, and the meals are delivered to the room. While this system works well, the food portions are very small compared to other nearby hotels. The complimentary breakfast was also disappointing, offering only two choices: bread with a very light layer of butter, and poori sabji.

The food should consider cultural difference, not a one size fit all kind of dishes.
