Center stay Kaunas - Peledyne - Owl's nest apartments

The building is a bit unusual and it has a wonderful terrace that goes around it, with a nice view on a Unesco heritage listed church from Kaunas modernist period. We loved the big window of the apartment, even though for the moment unfortunately the view is towards a big construction site in front. The location is perfect if you want to check out the modernist architecture. For the old town it is best to take a bus. We parked as instructed next to Ikki and that was perfect as during the weekend (from 17:00 or 18:00 on Fri evening) it is free. The flat itself is very modern and has everything one can need.

I am a bit particular about that, and on such a big window it would probably be very complicated, but I didn't like the lack of proper blinds/ dark curtains. There was a lot of light in the flat once the sun was up. Also a dishwasher would have been nice.

J'ai particulièrement apprécié la communication avec les hôtes qui m'ont donné tous les éléments pour faire de mon séjour une réussite : indications précises pour le trajet en bus depuis l'aéroport, où se garer, où faire ses courses et acheter des croissants, comment récupérer les clés, comment louer une voiture, etc. J'ai apprécié trouver des boissons dans le frigo et des prospectus touristiques dans le tiroir. J'ai utilisé la machine à laver qui fait aussi sèche-linge ainsi que le four et la machine à café. L'appartement est très bien équipé.

Lovely new build apartment with lots of amenities. Very clean and quiet. The airport bus stops right outside and only takes 30 minutes. Large supermarket across the road and a short 20 minute walk to the old town. Netflix! The owner kindly stored my bag on my last day.

I found it difficult to locate the entrance - but the owner came and rescued me. The walk to the apartment from the train station is up a bit of a hill - I was glad I only had a small bag!
