1 Bedrooms Flat in Central Edinburgh Haymarket, Heart of Edinburgh Flat Sleeps 4 ,

The location was literally a stroll away from downtown and the Edinburgh Castle. Lots of good eateries in the neighbourhood, from quick takeout to fine dining. Tesco Express was also about 3 minutes walk. We enjoyed the cosiness of the crib and the host was not only very responsive but also did many little extras such as stocking up the refrigerator with fresh milk and cereals and coffee/teas which made the entire experience wonderful.

The parking facility was quite a let down as it wasn't easy to manoeuvre a large SUV through the super narrow lane to get into and out of the parking building. Plus it was a good 8 to 10 minutes walk from the apartment. But to be fair, that parking facility was NOT part of the apartment.

Great location - within walking distance of nearly everywhere we wanted to visit as well as being near Haymarket station. As we were travelling with our teenage daughter, it was lovely to have a whole apartment for the 3 of us. Good value compared to 2 separate hotel rooms and we enjoyed being able to make our own breakfast and lunches. Accommodation and equipment corresponded to the photos/description and was clean. Wifi worked well. We would certainly consider staying here again.

The bedroom was rather cramped and dark. We were there during a heatwave and while we benefitted from being on the cooler ground floor we would have liked to be able to open the windows. Not really enough comfortable seating if occupied by 3-4 people.

The host left a very comprehensive breakfast spread. Fresh bread, cereals and milk with tea and coffee .

Nothing springs to mind

We spent five nights as we attended conference in the Int. Conference Center (just round the corner), so the location was outstanding for us. The acoommation is as advertised. We appreciated internet-TV (or how it is called) - we could play all the Cbeebies programmes that our kids love day and night. We very much appreciated fully equipped kitchen. And even more - the food stuff provided (toast bread, jams, .....) even a bottle of wine (actually two - probably because we spent five nights). The location is in traditional house in the crescent, in ground floor (covenient with small kids). Walking distance to the Castle. For us it was super convenient and can be recommended.

Good value for money. Note what you are booking. This is an ordinary flat in a resdential house. It is neither a spotless cosy apartment nor hotel. Beds are note very comfortable. Kitchen is dark. Parking in front of the house is not only incredibly expensive (I think 6 pounds / hour), but rather impossible. I parked the car for almost a week and Ferrytoll P+R (for free), and returned by bus. This is an hour and half journey there and back. Parking at Castle terraces (walking distance) is possible for around 35 pounds / 24 hrs. Anyway, for self-caterers, who seek for reasonably priced acommodation - flat (or appreciate this particular location), it is definitely recommended. We were satisfied.

Flat had various cereals to chose from as well as some essentials like bread, butter jam ,tea, coffee milk which was a pleasant surprise Kitchen very well stocked with utensils etc. All in all very impressed

As flat is within walking distance of Princess St. parking is a huge problem, as well as being expensive £4.50 an hour, which was a shock. So, some information about this and perhaps alternative places to park would of been beneficial

Great location. Easy acces by public transport. The flat was clean and well equipped; the host had provided food and drink. We recommend this place.
