It’s always good to return to The Hoops and we had another lovely stay. Comfortable and clean. Exceptional food and welcoming and friendly staff. Looking forward to next time!

Characterful building in a convenient location. Quirky but comfortable room with loads of space. Excellent food - we really enjoyed dinner which was tasty, well presented and sizeable. The breakfast offering was also excellent. Staff were all helpful, friendly and polite.

There was a bit of noise from the restaurant and other rooms, but did not go on late. Superior rooms at the front face the road so there is a little traffic noise.

Lovely two night stay in the spacious Family Room. Very clean and airy with lots of storage and a big bathroom with a great shower! Our large dog had plenty of space and she was welcomed and made a fuss of by the very kind staff. Food as always at The Hoops was plentiful and delicious. Great service with a smile.

The breakfast was ok Didn't stay for dinner as the menu wasn't to my liking I am sure other people would appreciate it. The room was clean and tidy clean towels both days and maid service

The twin bed was awful glad only booked for 2 nights couldn't sleep on the mattress it was like live on the ocean waves made me feel unwell. Having a room where you could here everyone out including the beer barrels being delivered early hours.

Breakfast was lovely with lots of choices.

Our only criticism was the bed was too hard and needed a topper on the mattress.

Traditional. Great breakfast. Very friendly staff. Good location for walks. Not far from Clovelly and Bideford. Lovely room and free parking. Cosy.

The shower was slightly odd. Start stop at times.
