The Hoops Inn & Country Hotel

The pub is in a great location especially if you are walking the South West Coastal path with a short 10 minute track to access the path and has a bus stop outside if you are returning back to the accommodation. Really friendly and flexible staff with excellent food.

The room decor was a bit tired and could do with a refresh but the bed was comfortable and the en-suite had a bath which were key to me.

Bar & restaurant furniture a bit "tired" Maybe more information available about the area. Poor extractor fan in bathroom

Quaint and cozy. We had Sunday night roast dinner here and also a fabulous full English breakfast the next morning. I would stay here again. Family room would probably sleep at least five people and the bathroom was beautifully remodeled, and everything wasn’t very good shape with comfortable furniture. The bathroom had been beautifully remodeled and the bathtub was fabulous.

I thought I ordered a family room with a queen bed and two twins, but we ended up getting a queen with two twins that were stuck together with one king mattress, and one duvet. I ended up sleeping on a pullout sofa, which would’ve been better for a child.

It was cosy and the breakfast was fast and plentiful. The staff were so helpful and accommodated our little baby and two dogs with all their needs.

Would have like to have seen a poo bin as there was no bin when walking around the grounds.

Staff so friendly & welcoming! Food was amazing, pork belly for dinner along with local Parkdean steak- cooked perfectly! Location, although on a main road you can’t really hear it and provides great access across coast of Devon & inland too.

Only a little suggestion, would be nice to have water & glasses in the room.
