"A pleasant enough stay in one of Llandudno’s most well known hotels."

7.0

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was clean and the food in the restaurant was exceptional. The breakfast buffet was varied and of a good standard. Our twin room was quite spacious and very quiet. It contained all the facilities we needed. The hotel was in a great location.

Our room, bathroom (and some parts of the hotel itself) looked quite tired which was a pity. My bed was incredibly soft and felt a little saggy meaning that I didn’t have the greatest night’s sleep. We did have an amazing deal on the price for the night though so perhaps I expected too much.

"Will stay but will have main meals elsewhere, breakfast is as usual good."

8.0

Everything in the room was fine.

Well in the past we always had dinner in the Terrace restaurant, the menu was a separate one with three or four starters + mains and desserts, but now the menu was a is an all day one a bit more cafe menu. Was very disappointed. We had some friends who wanted to treat us to Sunday lunch, what a letdown was that ,stuck us on the balcony, the tables too close and could not able to pull out the seat due to a lady sitting next to table, moved to inside the room and lunch was a complete disaster, food stone cold, friend had the Sunday roast, the veg, was half a carrot which the knife would not cut through and all in all it would take hours to describe the rest of the meals, so not a good choice. The hotel we were told had been taken over and new management,I only hope that they realise that this is a top hotel in Llandudno and do not let standards slip as they have done.

"Comfortable, relaxing and met our expectations."

8.0

Location excellent for access to the town and the promenade.

Limited car parking which prevemtedCo any trips outside Llandudno. Housekeeping could be a lot more generous with teabags and milk cartons.

"Enjoyed our stay and will look into returning in the future"

8.0

Location, local to everything :town, pier and beach

They were short staffed during our stay, nobody informed us so we had to wait 2 hours for our 3 course meal to be served, not an issue for us but the staff were looking flustered

"Great location, lovely old hotel, very friendly and helpful staff."

9.0

Great location. Lovely Victorian hotel upgraded with great care an d sensitivity.

The lovely large steel bath had no non-slip bottom and was potentially dangerous. The hotel does offer non-slip bath mats, but I didn't notice the small sign until after I had dyruigled to get out.
