St George's Hotel - Llandudno

Great location with nearby parking. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was really good served in a well presented room. Bedroom was large and comfortable.

Only issue was that the bathroom had not been well cleaned with a number of visible hairs left on the floor.

The splendor and grandness of the building was very desirable. We were very impressed with our room, very comfortable beds and very modern shower and bathroom. Helpful staff.

Let me start with the positives. The rooms were clean, tidy, and well maintained. I also have no complaints whatsoever about the hotel's hygiene standards.

Unfortunately, the service and dining experience left a lot to be desired. When checking in, we mentioned that we would like to have breakfast at 8:00 AM. We were welcomed politely in the restaurant, but the breakfast buffet was not fully available until around 8:20 AM. In addition, the breakfast was very modest. Hardly felt like a hotel breakfast. On our second evening, we decided to dine in the restaurant. The soup was enjoyable, but my father's prawn salad was disappointing. The bowl was approximately 99% dry lettuce with only a few prawns placed on top. For the main course, we both ordered the entrecôte steak. The waiter asked whether we preferred pepper sauce or red wine sauce. We chose the red wine sauce, but less than a minute later he returned to inform us that it was unavailable. The steak itself was also poorly cooked: one half was well done, while the other half was rare. Perhaps this is their interpretation of medium, but it certainly was not ours. After dinner, we ordered an Irish Coffee. Unfortunately, it tasted like weak coffee, and the whiskey was barely noticeable. Later that evening, we wanted to finish the night with an Espresso Martini, a cocktail that is even listed on the menu as one of their favourites. However, we were told it could not be made because the coffee machine had already been switched off.

The staff were exceptionally helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

Housekeeping only left us 1 hand towel each day, rather then the usual 2 hand towels.

Beautiful hotel ideally situated across from the beach. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly.

Lack of parking.

Lovely & clean …Nice superior sea view room with the perfect view …Liked the fact we had a parking spot .

Carpet @ the front needed a vac 1st impressions…in areas it needed a lick of paint .

The staff are exceptional !! We didn't get all names unfortunately but the young men in the restaurant and helping with luggage are a credit to the hotel. Nothing is too much trouble! Jake and the other reception staff are very professional and hard working it's a very busy area and they treat every guest to a first class experience. The hotel is immaculate the cleaners must work incredibly hard it's a credit to them. We can't say enough about how much we loved this hotel.

Nothing, we had a couple of issues that were dealt with by Jake. We gave feedback and he listened without giving excuses just understanding and solutions that are being implemented.
