Jacks Point Earth House, Mountain View & Fireplace

Location was great for the purpose of our stay: golf at Jack’s Point. It is close enough to a small shopping complex with supermarkets and restaurants. It’s a convenient drive to CBD and Arrowtown etc (we had a rental car). The instructions were very clear so checkin was easy. The place was very clean and spacious. It was nice to return home to a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood with little to no light pollution at night. It felt very secure and safe too. I note that this house is situated in the Jack’s Point residential settlement area.

This house is fully open plan (no doors for the two beds upstairs), and there are no curtains/drapes for all windows except the ones on the roof. Needless to say, this was painful as there is light coming from all directions. Neither of these points was clear when booking this property. The front door is also floor-to-ceiling glass, so it was tricky in regards to privacy.

-Construction site right next to the house which was not a quiet environment and uncomfortable -A hot water tank only lasted for 20minutes -Too hot upstairs when fireplace was on -Lack of kitchenware -Broken washer draining connection caused water everywhere

Had everything we needed, clean and very comfortable, would stay agin!

The location was as expected. Beautiful view of the Remarkables. Nice area. The house was nice and well equipped. The style and fixtures were very tasteful. Had almost everything we needed.

No TV, no microwave. really open so quite noisy as we had a 1year old and the house had no doors upstairs and was open to the rest of the house so anything we did was heard all over the house.

Beautifully designed and decorated. Quiet, residential location with lovely outlook. Spacious living/kitchen area. Comfy beds.

Not really a dislike, but a limitation - the open-plan loft arrangement for the 3 single beds means that there is less privacy, etc than a normal 3 bedroom house.

The location and property were lovely. Comfortable and peaceful stay.

Due to the late western sun in the evening, the only down side was not having blinds for the late nights.

The only complaint is it needs blinds for a bit of privacy

Keine Außenmöbel. Mehrfacher Alarm in der ersten Nacht von Kohlenstoff Monoxid Alarm. Sehr hellhörig, dadurch wenig Privatsphäre.
