"Great resort with not so great hotel room"

The place is beautiful. Its massive with tons of things to do. We didn't even get to do it all in our time here. There's lots to do for the whole family

The room itself could use some work. The beds weren't all that comfortable. The WiFi was pointless and did not work even once during our stay. Our specific rooms shower barely got hot at all and after calling maintenance they claimed that's just how it is.

"Bad service"

The location

I booked a delux room, when we checked in the toilet was not working and we had to wait 2 hours for a guy to fix it. We was told there is no other rooms available. Then next day we discovered the aircon was not working and they said they can't do anything about it. I informed them about my displeasure and they eventually gave me a classic room the cheaper option. With a smaller bed no tub and no smart TV I took it as the first one didn't provide what I ha e paid for. However I didn't get a discount or partial refund on the price.

Great location, clean and modern rooms (hotel); loved the fact there were plenty of activities to keep keeps entertained.

Buffet service could have been manned better. Food was cold, left open and messy

"San Lameer Hotel and Estate"

Beautiful and secure estate with an amazing 18 hole Golf Course and a great Mashie course for beginners. Beautiful Country Club and great beach access onto pristine and beautiful beach.

Food service at the hotel restaurant was exceptionaly slow and below standard. Seems a lot of effort is made to accommodate conference guests while ignoring normal paying guests. A simple request to provide a basic off menu request for a toddler with us was denied which was really disappointing. Two hour waits for dinner orders seem to be the norm. Thank goodness for the Country Club as both the food and service was awesome
