Stylish and Comfortable 1-BR in the Heart of Detroit

The location

Had a lot of Nats in the kitchen. We had a hard time gaining access, initially. We could have used a television in the bedroom.

The property was super clean and calm. Very nice neighborhood and close to downtown area.

Not much I didn’t like about the property at all. I was satisfied with everything

Wonderful location, very responsive management addressing questions/ needs at any time of a day!

Everything was great

Centrally located in the arts district and in close proximity to Wayne State University and Downtown Detroit

Helpful if the family room sofa was more of a sofa bed.

Hello: I would just like to say that I have had one of the worst check-in experiences ever whilst trying to gain access to your unit #8 at 692 East Ferry St. I have messaged through the booking.com platform more than 6 times over the past few days asking for the access code to the unit. I was told that I would be given the access code for the front door 8hrs prior to check-in. While en route to Detroit, I messaged twice as there was no message nor update regarding the front door access code. I was told that I was to be given the code prior to the 3:00pm check-in. My wife and I drove 4.5 hours today to get to Detroit. We arrived at the unit exactly at 3:00pm. We were exhausted from the drive and dying to use the washroom. We checked both email as well booking.com messages and there was still no code update. We sat in our car for 30 minutes waiting. We called the phone number on the MGM Properties site and were rudely hung up on by an ignoramus who answered the phone once but subsequently would not answer the phone. We could not take it anymore, we had to use the bathroom. We went to a bar in Mid-Town to use the bathroom and await for the code to be sent. I find that this was a most horrible situation. The access code for the door was not sent until around 4:00pm, which is unacceptable. When you charged my credit card, did I say: “Oh, you have to wait, there is some kind of delay?” Most definitely not. When you tell someone that you will send the code 8hrs prior to check-in on the day, then you have to honour that. You cannot be duplicitous and literally leave people standing out in the freezing cold. What if I were a tourist who did not have a car? What if I did not have cellphone reception? You must really re-think your policies and how you treat your customers.
